Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking drivers for flatbed and curtain side operations. You’ll be paid a guaranteed $270.08 per day and go home every night and weekend with first shift hours and reliable equipment.

Responsibilities include securing loads (no tarping), timely freight delivery, handling returns, DOT inspections, and professional interaction with customers. A valid Class A CDL, 21+, 12 months’ experience, and a safe driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to securely strap loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling returns.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.
