Scrap Management Industries is hiring a CDL Class A Driver to join our growing team. You will operate company vehicles and tractor-trailer combos, transporting materials between customer locations and our facilities while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class A license and a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
• Excellent attendance and reliability required.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer and other commercial vehicles.
• Roll Off experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles and tractor-trailer combinations between customer locations and facilities.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Pick up and deliver materials safely and efficiently.
• Secure loads and ensure cargo is transported safely.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
