Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily routes in Omaha. This night shift position runs Monday through Friday from 10:00pm to 6:30am, with pay starting at $29.00 per hour plus $2.00 per hour shift differential and overtime after 40 hours.

You will drive local routes, load and unload, and ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to safety standards. Requirements include a minimum of 6 months CDL experience with the same equipment, at least 21 years old, and a valid CDL

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL A and an acceptable MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements if required, depending on route.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 53ft tractor trailer on local routes and within the site.
• Touch freight and ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate loads.
