Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a Class A CDL truck driver in Columbus, OH to deliver materials to customers on a Monday–Friday schedule (6 AM to 3:30 PM or route completion). The role offers competitive hourly pay up to $30.76 with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days and full benefits.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of commercial driving experience, be at least 21, and maintain a valid CDL A and DOT Medical card. Safety and customer service are priorities in this hands-on logistics position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A
• 1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card
• Ability to independently lift 50+ pounds frequently and 90+ pounds occasionally
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, loading/unloading with pallet jack and two-wheel dolly
• Pickup customer returns and validate product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed; report issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment; receiving, verifying, stocking incoming material
• Work overtime as needed
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE and safety harness as required
