Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Must meet driver eligibility and training requirements, including forklift certification.
• English language sufficiently to converse with the public and read signs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber and building materials to customers’ homes, sites, or businesses.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signature.
• Record delivery information for tracking and reporting.
• Collect and organize required paperwork for delivery activity.
• Treat customers with courtesy and resolve complaints promptly.
• Load vehicle safely and maintain delivery equipment appearance.
