Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely, on time and with courteous service. You will be a company ambassador, interacting with customers and supporting a strong safety culture; you’ll be home every night since we’re local.

Requirements include valid Class A CDL, high school diploma or GED, 2 years DOT regulated driving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-A).
• Adhere to all safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties as assigned.
