Job summary

CRH in Fontana, CA is seeking a professional CDL A driver to transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers and job sites. This role requires safe, timely deliveries, loading supervision, and strict adherence to DOT rules.

Candidates should have 2+ years of current CDL experience (flatbed or pneumatic tanker), a clean driving record, a valid Medical Card, and the ability to work well in a team. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL A license with current experience specified.
• Minimum of 2 years CDL experience (Flatbed or Pneumatic Tanker).
• Safe driving record and valid Medical Card.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of the truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Unload using boom cranes and truck-mounted forklifts as needed.
• Receive instructions from dispatcher and follow them accurately.
• Maintain accurate records such as daily truck logs and fuel tickets.
• Maintain good customer relations and report issues promptly.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report concerns.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety rules.
• Survey job sites and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
