Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services in Reno, NV is seeking a CDL A Driver to transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste. The role involves operating multiple vehicle types, on-call emergency response, and compliance with DOT, safety, and training requirements.

The Driver reports to the Field Office’s Branch Manager, with duties including loading/unloading, equipment operation, and coordination with the operations team. Benefits and training are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL A with clean driving record.
• Current Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
• No manual or airbrake restrictions.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and follow all policies.
• Adhere to transportation compliance including logs and reports.
• Primarily local work with occasional out-of-town travel.
• Load and unload various waste types effectively.
• Operate light and heavy equipment as needed (e.g., forklifts, lifts).
• Attend mandatory training to earn certifications and keep docs up to date.
