Job summary

Feeding South Florida is seeking a Class A Driver in Pembroke Park, FL to drive, load, unload, and deliver food items while maintaining equipment and safety standards. The role requires CDL-A, at least 1 year of driving experience, and strong English communication to interact with donors and partner agencies.

Hours include early morning shifts with overtime during peak periods; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of people
• Ability to lift and carry weight per OSHA standards

Responsibilities

• Pick up food and grocery items from retail stores, manufacturers, ports, farms, and other partners.
• Deliver items to partner agencies, events, and distributions.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain equipment safely per regulatory standards.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch, donors, and partner agencies.
• Transport food items under sanitary conditions and safe temperatures.
• Assist with weighing, loading, and unloading of products.
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed.
