Job summary

Franklin Building Supply in Idaho is seeking a dependable DOT window delivery driver to load, unload, and safely transport building materials to job sites. You will prioritize safety and outstanding customer service while ensuring timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates hold a Class-A CDL with a clean driving record; an air brake endorsement is encouraged but not required. Forklift experience, comfort with tablets, and the ability to adapt to changes in the building industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL Class-A license with clean driving record; air brake endorsement encouraged.
• Must hold a current Medical Card and be able to work in inclement weather.
• Adapt to changes in the building industry and learn new products/processes.
• Comfort with using a tablet and solving problems with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer focus and ability to build trust with customers.
• High sense of urgency and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and safely transport building materials to job sites.
• Uphold the highest safety standards in daily operations.
• Operate a forklift when required.
• Place materials at sites per framers' instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and subcontractors.
• Grow knowledge about products and processes to expand our customer base.
• Support crew and foreman to maintain productivity.
• Manage product returns for credit with accurate transactions.
