Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. is seeking problem-solvers to join our growing team as a delivery driver. The role focuses on delivering Hydrite products to customers while maintaining the company’s Standards of Excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, safe driving, accurate shipment handling, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. Hydrite offers competitive benefits and advancement opportunities, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL and current DOT physical certification (ABCD/NH).
• Able to meet driving requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect unit daily and report any needed repairs to Transportation.
• Deliver and pick up products and containers as assigned by Transportation.
• Review all shipping papers and verify load accuracy, including waste manifest and container labels.
• Follow delivery instructions on pick lists, bills of lading, or receiving documents.
• Adhere to company safety rules, motor carrier safety regulations, state weight laws, and environmental regulations.
• Complete paperwork accurately according to SOP at end of shift.
• May cover for other employees in plant, warehouse, or another driver as directed by Transportation Supervisor.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, and branch buyer to ensure branch success.
