NIS EXPRESS is seeking dedicated drivers to deliver propane tanks across the Northeast. You can earn an average of $1,860 per week with a guaranteed minimum of $1,500. This role involves hand unloading and reloading tanks while maintaining a professional appearance. Drivers will operate in a dedicated regional route, home each week with a 34-hour reset.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL-A license and have a minimum of 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Additional benefits include health insurance starting in 60 days and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Job description

Join a dedicated account delivering propane tanks across the Northeast. Earn an average of $1,860 per week with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500. Home every week with a 34-hour reset.

The Job:

Drivers will deliver new and refurbished propane tanks to customers and pick up return tanks for refurbishment. This is a physically demanding position — drivers are required to hand unload and reload propane tanks independently using a liftgate. You will be representing the company at all times and are expected to maintain a professional appearance with customers.

The Numbers:

• Average weekly pay: $1,860
• Guaranteed weekly minimum: $1,500
• $0.75 per mile
• Average 1,800 miles per week
• $50.00 stop pay
• $50.00 per full trailer unload
• $20.00 per full trailer reload
• $75.00 Long Island trip pay
• $25.00 per hour delay pay after 2 hours
• $18.00 hourly rate
• $500 sign‑on bonus paid on second paycheck
• Weekly pay via direct deposit or Comdata

The Route:

• Dedicated regional route based out of Shohola, PA
• Deliveries throughout the Northeast including Long Island
• No NYC five boroughs
• Primarily Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday or Sunday
• Home weekly with 34-hour reset
• 2020-2023 Freightliner or Kenworth, automatic transmission
• 53-foot dry van with liftgate
• Pets and passengers allowed

Requirements:

• Valid CDL‑A license
• Minimum 12 months verifiable tractor‑trailer experience (45ft or longer)
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Steel toe boots, gloves and safety vest required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
• No felony convictions in the past 7 years
• No terminations in the past 12 months
• Must pass hair follicle drug screening
