Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a CDL-A driver in Tilton, NH to drop off and pick up equipment for customers. You will operate semi-trucks and low boys, align with DOT rules, and maintain logs while performing pre-trip inspections.

This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork. You will identify equipment needs for customers and may participate in additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (“low boys”).
• Adhere to safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.
