DTE Repair & Towing in West Virginia is seeking a dependable CDL Class A driver with flatbed experience who can handle up to 18 speeds and isn’t afraid to get hands dirty loading and unloading equipment. You will transport equipment, secure loads, and operate a range of trailers while adhering to safety standards.

This role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus, room to grow as we expand, and a hands-on team that values reliability and initiative.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Transporting and securing various equipment and connex boxes
• Operating flatbed trailers, dovetail trailers, and (bonus points!) lowboys
• Strapping down loads safely and efficiently—no shortcuts here
• Taking verbal direction and completing tasks independently without babysitting
• Supporting a growing company with a boots-on-the-ground attitude

Duties:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.
• Transport goods and materials from one location to another.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving commercial vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.
• Knowledge of freight handling and transportation procedures.

Skills:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations for commercial drivers.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
