Job summary

United Rentals, the worlds largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. You will be a company ambassador, serving customers and ensuring top service, with the perk of returning home each night.

In this role, you will drop off/pick up gear, operate trucks and trailers, log inspections, and keep logs compliant with safety regs. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys").
• Adhere to all safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
• Other duties assigned as needed
