Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a CDL driver for overnight and weekend routes, responsible for packing, transporting and disposing of waste in accordance with safety policies. This position requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and you must be 21 or older.

Expect 5 overnights per week with paid hotel expenses and per diem. Travel across assigned routes, with English fluency and DOT-mandated physical and background checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport and properly dispose of waste material on assigned routes in compliance with policies and procedures.

• Interact with customers and internal staff, maintaining safety and service standards.

• Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.

• This position requires 5overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

Pay range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required for transporting waste

Preferred Requirements

• TWIC Card
• Experience operating vac trucks, combo vehicles, and roll offs.

As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
