United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers, ensuring safety, timeliness, and courteous service. As a local driver, you’ll be home every night and act as a company ambassador.

You’ll handle pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and help customers select equipment, while working with a safety‑minded team. We offer competitive benefits, career development, and a supportive culture.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and DOT rules.

• Operate construction equipment according to DOT rules.
• Maintain driver logs and pre-trip inspections.

What you'll do:

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
• Diligent attention to safety
• This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
