Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team at New World Van Lines. As a crucial member of the New World Van Lines team, this position will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting household goods and possessions between destinations. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of driving experience and a spotless safety record, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Operates the company vehicle by maintaining the safety of the motoring public, self, and company equipment.
Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions onto the truck and in a customer’s home, ensuring proper handling and care throughout the transportation process.
Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and other required documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a courteous and professional manner.
Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize route planning and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods or equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer, promoting a professional image both internally and to the public.
Perform any and all duties as assigned.
