Job summary

RGTransportation LLC is seeking experienced truck drivers for dedicated lanes with home every night. This full-time role offers sign-on bonuses after 6 months and competitive starting pay.

You will operate a tractor-trailer across intercity routes, unload cargo with an electric jack, and adhere to all traffic laws while delivering to clients on time. We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer.
• Unload cargo with electric jack.
• Refuel, clean truck and wash windows.
• Report incidents to dispatcher on the road.
• Maintain clean and good working order of truck and trailer.
• Follow pre- and post-trip inspections and document defects.
• Maintain and submit logs via ELD each trip and weekly delivery bills.

• Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning Northeast states.
• Unload cargo with electric jack.
• Take orders for new deliveries.
• Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Inspect your truck & trailer before and after the trip, and record/report any defects found.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep your assigned truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
• Follow pre-routed trip.
• Get goods to client on time.
• Take special precautions while driving.
• Maintain log of trips and off duty via ELD.
• Logs and all original delivery bills must be handed in every Friday.
• Weekly direct deposit pay every Friday
• Deliveries for same customers. Set lanes.
• Reliable and responsible drivers only.
