Sunstate Equipment Co. in Baldwin Park, CA is hiring a CDL A driver for the trench safety division. You will transport trench and shoring equipment to customer sites using knuckle boom trucks, with some yard duties and inspections. Uniforms are provided and safety glasses are supplied.

Expect on-call rotations 1–2 weeks per month, 6am starts possible, and a physically demanding role with a focus on safety and customer relations. Sunstate promotes equal opportunity and a drug-free workplace.

Formación

• Class A CDL license & DOT Medical Card required.
• Flatbed loading/unloading experience required.
• NCCCO certification a plus, not required.
• TWIC card a plus, not required.
• Ability to operate knuckle boom crane on trucks.

Responsabilidades

• Transport trench and MAP shoring to/from customer sites using various trucks (knuckle boom flat bed, semi, trailer).
• 20% of duties include assembly, testing, inspection, power washing, inventory control, and yard work.

Hiring Immediately:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM. Could start as early as 6am.

On-call rotation as needed 1-2 weeks per month.

Have you got what it takes?

• Class A CDL License & DOT Medical Card is required – no wiggle room on this. (Sunstate will pay for DOT Medical card renewal if needed).
• Flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience required.
• NCCCO certification a plus, but not required. Will be driving a truck with Knuckle boom crane attached.
• TWIC card a plus but not required.
• 80% of work will be transporting Trench and MAP shoring to and from customer job sites using various trucks - knuckle boom flat bed, semi, and trailer trucks.
• 20% of work will include, but not limited to, assembly, testing, and inspection of equipment, power washing, inventory control and various yard duties.
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
• Maintain customer relations by consistently being courteous, professional and helpful. Drivers are considered an extension of sales.
• Team player, willing to jump in and join our exciting team.
