Job summary

Ferguson in Gulfport, MS is seeking a driver/warehouse associate to deliver materials, load/unload with pallet jack, and support shipping and receiving. You will operate basic tech tools including iPads and adhere to DOT standards and safety rules.

The role requires a valid CDL A, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a customer-focused approach. Schedule is Mon-Thu 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with competitive pay and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring delivery ticket accompanies material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage; safety harness weight limit 400 lbs.
• This role involves both driving and warehouse duties.
