Job summary

McLane in Lima, OH is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move goods for America's favorite brands. You will drive tractor-trailer, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain DOT logs while ensuring on-time deliveries.

From day one, you receive medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and life insurance; plus paid holidays and sick leave. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with strong client relationships and home time.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required and valid.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating standards.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering vehicle on road and customer premises.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
