Job summary

McLane is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move and supply major brands nationwide. Regional routes offer competitive pay ($75K–$115K) with comprehensive day-1 benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and life insurance.

The role includes holiday pay, vacation, sick leave accrual, and 401(k) profit sharing after 90 days. As a CDL-A Teammate, you will inspect vehicles, ensure documents are accurate, follow DOT regulations, log miles, and deliver products to customer

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination complying with regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations and document delivery receipts.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience

• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
