Job summary

McLane is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods for America’s favorite brands. From day one you’ll receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance, plus paid holidays and sick leave accrual.

You must be 21+, hold a CDL-A, have 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience, and meet MVR/risk standards. Competitive pay ($103,000–$109,000/year) with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and robust benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and file DOT report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Handle 3rd shift dispatch and drive tractor-trailer to destinations.
• Operate vehicle in compliance with commercial driving regulations and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT rules and document deliveries.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• 3rd shift dispatch.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
