Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. You will load, transport, and deliver a wide range of ingredients to premium restaurants, ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining accurate paperwork and manifests.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. DOT medical certification is required and we value strong time-management and customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL and clean driving record required.
• DOT medical certification required.
• Must be physically able to lift 25 pounds.
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks is a plus.
• Professional and courteous with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into vehicle and unload as needed.
• Ensure inventory matches the delivery manifest and paperwork.
• Deliver goods to client locations and obtain signatures/payments when required.
• Read maps or GPS to determine daily route and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and report accidents or vehicle issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety rules and road regulations at all times.
