Job summary

The Sheehan Family Companies is seeking Class A CDL delivery drivers in New Jersey for a busy route-based role. You will deliver pre-loaded pallet orders and assemble loads from truckload, maintaining a fast pace while handling up to 150 lb items and approx. 20 stops per route.

Starting pay is $26 per hour with a $3,000 signing bonus and opportunities to earn at least $70,000 in the first year. This full-time position offers a 4-day workweek (Mon-Fri) with health benefits after 90 days and a

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-loaded pallet orders using hand truck or pallet jack.
• Assemble orders from truckload; average ~20 stops per route.
• Move freight up to 150 lbs and operate a 26' straight box truck or trailer.
• Follow DOT rules and maintain safe driving practices.

Compensation:$26/Hr. Starting Pay + $3000 Signing Bonus

We are extremely busy and guarantee steady work—40+ hours/4 day work schedule (M-F).

We are looking for current Class A drivers for delivery and freight positions.

Starting pay dependent on experience and license class. Opportunity to earn at least 70K in your first year.

You will be delivering pre-loaded pallet orders and assembling orders from truckload. This is physical work.

You must be able to handle routes with an approximate average of 20 stops and work at a good pace.

You must also be able to move/lift up to 150 lbs. (half kegs). Deliver with a hand truck or pallet jack and work out of a 26' straight box truck or trailer if available.

Requirements

• At Least 1 Year of Local Driving Experience (Preferred not Required)
• Willing to train New Class A Graduates
• Valid and clean Class A CDL (all parts except hazardous material)
• Current D.O.T. medical card
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours & days
• Interpret numerical values on merchandise
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal highway rules and DOT regulations
• Knowledge of the New York/New Jersey delivery territories
