Job summary

Lindenmeyr Munroe in Hanover, MD is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate company trucks on assigned routes, delivering and loading products to customers while following all safety policies and regulations.

This role requires precise pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to DOT/FMCSA rules, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds; prior driving experience with multi-axle trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience driving the type of equipment or 2 years in the past 5 years.
• Valid Class A CDL license from the state of residence (or appropriate CDL)
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Drive a multi-axle truck up to 80,000 lbs GVW to delivery stops.
• Unload and/or pick up orders at delivery sites using pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Verify goods against orders and obtain customer signatures.
• Complete delivery routes in the designated sequence while staying compliant with regulations.
