Job summary

US Foods is seeking delivery drivers to operate from the Saugerenties, NY yard, with routes that begin early in the morning. The role offers weekly pay, a robust benefits package starting day one, and a generous retention bonus for new hires.

Drivers typically dispatch between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM, Monday through Saturday, with possible 4- or 5-day weeks based on business needs. You will deliver to customers and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with appropriate endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience, or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English for route and safety.
• Experience with manual transmission is preferred in specific locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from trailers using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and store them as directed.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
