Job summary

SYGMA Columbus Team is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers using a tractor-trailer, ensuring on-time delivery per invoices and company standards.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and the ability to read and speak English sufficiently for reports and daily communication. You will unload, inspect orders, and follow DOT safety regulations as part of a health-conscious, safety-forward team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree; 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school acceptable in lieu of or with diploma.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and to operate reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations and delivers per invoices and company standards.
• Unloads product by hand or hand cart; uses ramps, stairs, or docks as needed.
• Handles paperwork per DOT and company guidelines; maintains accurate logs and invoicing.
• Ensures food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Maintains safety and safety communications with management about deviations to route or loading.
