Job summary

Sysco is seeking delivery drivers to transport product from the warehouse by tractor trailer to customers and properly deliver and unload according to invoices and company standards. Our SYGMA Columbus team emphasizes teamwork, offers paid training, and provides top earning potential.

Drivers run 2-4 routes per week with strong earning potential and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required. Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer by hand or hand cart to designated customer storage areas according to customer specs and company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established guidelines (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, etc.) and invoices are accurate.
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in truck and warehouse as required.
• Develops good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
