Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a delivery driver to support customer locations with on-time food service deliveries across intrastate and interstate routes. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck, perform safety inspections, and ensure secure loading and unloading of goods while maintaining professional interactions with customers.

The role requires a valid CDL A, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass drug testing and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Drives tractor/trailer and delivers customer orders according to route schedule.
• Performs safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Unloads products and secures freight at customer locations.
• Maintains accurate paperwork and records of hours of service.
