Job summary

US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Streator, IL. Shifts start around 2:30am–5am with routes that require safe driving, unloading, and verification of deliveries. You will interact with customers, maintain vehicle and load safety, and complete pre-/post-trip inspections.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid CDL A with endorsements, and comply with FMCSA Clearinghouse. English literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with required endorsements.
• DOT qualifications and clean driving record.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Unload using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand (100% touch freight).
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance experience.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adapt to other duties as assigned by management.
