Job summary

Americhem International is looking for a dependable CDL A Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our Altoona Distribution team. This full-time role blends driving with hands-on warehouse work and customer interaction.

You’ll deliver janitorial supplies, unload at customer locations, and handle stocking and order picking. A strong safety focus and reliable attendance are essential for daily local and occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Has Valid CDL A license with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Experience operating sleeper cabs and trailers up to 53'.
• Ability to safely operate equipment with roll-up doors and liftgates.
• Comfortable performing dock deliveries and pallet drops with an electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Deliver janitorial supplies to customers using CDL A equipment and unload deliveries at customer locations.
• Make local deliveries in Altoona area and Western PA as needed.
• Operate overnight routes to out-of-state locations.
• Pick and prepare customer orders and assist with stocking in the warehouse.
• Load/unload products using pallet jack and equipment.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service at delivery.
• Follow DOT and FMCSA regulations and company safety procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Deliver janitorial supplies to customers using CDL A equipment and safely unload deliveries at customer locations.
• Make local deliveries throughout the greater Altoona and Western PA areas as needed.
• Operate scheduled overnight routes to out-of-state customer locations.
• Pick and prepare customer orders and assist with stocking inventory in the warehouse.
• Load and unload products using an electric pallet jack and other equipment.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service at every delivery.
• Follow all DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety procedures.

ABOUT THE ROUTES

• Overnight routes are scheduled throughout the month and include OH, MA/CT, and NC.
• Some routes involve two-night overnight trips, while others are one-stop overnight deliveries.
• The specific route schedule and overnight expectations will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
