Job summary

Sysco is seeking a tractor-trailer driver in Texas to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers, unload by hand or hand cart, and ensure accurate invoicing and delivery per route.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, ability to work overnight including weekends, strong knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to communicate in English; candidates should be prepared for long-distance driving and extensive customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports products from the warehouse to customer locations according to route plans.
• Unloads products from trailer by hand or hand cart per procedures and stores them as directed.
• Completes all required paperwork (logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices) accurately and on time.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation in vehicle and at delivery sites.
• Communicates route or loading issues to management and follows safety guidelines.
