Job summary

Vistar in Wisconsin is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to support food distribution. Newer drivers can earn about $70,000 annually with day-1 benefits and a $2,500 sign-on bonus; a safety bonus of up to $3,400 is also available.

The role involves safety checks, loading/unloading, and DOT-compliant delivery across intrastate and interstate routes with emphasis on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months commercial driving experience; foodservice distribution exposure.
• Experience with PeopleNet and handheld POD scanning systems.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and inspections on tractor/trailer per DOT rules.
• Ensure freight is loaded and secured; verify invoices and paperwork.
• Maintain logs and hours of service records in compliance with regulations.
• Operate across intrastate and interstate routes delivering food products.
• Provide courteous customer service and communicate with customers and vendors.
