Performance Foodservice in Monroe, LA is seeking a professional delivery driver to join our team. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers with a focus on timeliness and safety.

The role requires 12 months of commercial driving experience, CDL A, DOT compliance, and ability to lift and unload orders. Schedule is Monday through Friday with early dispatch from 4am to 6am; salary around $70,000 per

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Post offer drug test and background check.
• Road test and valid DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/trailer and ensure safety standards.
• Deliver and unload freight to customer locations.
• Obtain customer signatures and process paperwork.
• Safely secure equipment and maintain logs as required.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
