Job summary

McLane is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support the delivery of products for America’s favorite brands. Inspect, drive, and unload while maintaining DOT-compliant logs and safety standards. You’ll help move products to customer sites and ensure accurate documentation from day one.

Pay ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 yearly, with Day 1 benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance. Enjoy paid holidays and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver
