Job summary

McLane in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move and deliver goods to leading brands. You will drive safely, inspect loads, and manage logs while ensuring accurate delivery and good customer service.

The role offers a $75,000–$105,000 yearly pay range (varies by route), a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year, Day 1 medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company matching, paid holidays, and additional perks. Home daily with overnight requirements possible.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination per regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 100% Touch Freight, Ramp & Dolly deliveries.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
