Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL A license and be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a TWIC card if required.
• Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL A driving and 1 year of route delivery experience.
• Experience with manual pallet jack and hand truck is required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle a physical workload.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, or until the daily route is completed. There is a rotating schedule for required weekend routes.

You will:

• Safely operate a 53' truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• A valid TWIC Card
• A Hazmat endorsement, or willing to obtain one
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Ability to work some weekends
• Lift gate experience
• Strong work ethic
