US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team, serving Long Island and NYC routes. You will safely deliver products to customers, navigate city streets, and unload with precision, earning trust mile by mile.

Qualifications

Must hold valid CDL Class A with appropriate endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food/beverage delivery industry.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to read and communicate in English and to verify deliveries and obtain signatures.

Responsibilities

Safe Driving: Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
Unloading: Unload using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, 100% touch freight.
Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers and secure signatures.
Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.

Our Drivers earn a daily minimum of $320 with our competitive component-based pay! Component pay is based on factors such as stops, miles, and cases. Our Drivers earn an average of $115,000 in year 1!

Schedule & Location

5-6 days a week (including 1 weekend day) | Dispatch between 2:00 AM and 4:30 AM | Long Island and NYC routes

CDL A Delivery Driver – Position Overview

You’ll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision.The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.
Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.
Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.
Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

Lift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.
Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.
Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.
Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.

Qualifications

Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR3-months commercial driving experience in the foodand/or beverage delivery industryrequired.
Ability tooperatemanual transmission preferred; may berequiredin specific locations.
Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
