Qualifications

Role Overview:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely delivery and proper unloading according to company standards.

• Key Responsibilities: Safely operate tractor-trailers, unload products in all weather conditions, complete accurate paperwork, adhere to food safety and safety protocols, and maintain equipment.
• Develop strong customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Handle backhauls and line hauls, ensuring correct and timely deliveries.
• Follow work schedules, report issues, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; preferred tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be insurable. Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting, and delivery practices. Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and effective communication. Ability to operate various equipment, read/write English, perform basic math, and work independently.

Physical & Work Environment:

Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and operate in varying weather conditions. Exposure to noise, fumes, and mechanical parts. May work overnight, weekends, and holidays, with occasional confined spaces and high places.
