Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Qualified Yard Jockey in Easton, PA. This role requires moving trucks from Yard to building and back and maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed.

Earn $28.28 per hour with weekly pay, PTO/holidays, and comprehensive benefits. This is a long-standing, family-owned carrier focused on reliable service and employee development.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Minimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience, van type trailer preferred.
• Previous jockey/switcher experience preferred.
• Must hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around the terminal to various locations.
• Maneuver the truck into loading and unloading positions.
• Visually inspect trailers and trucks before and after moving.
• Connect tractors to trailers.
• Assist with unloading and loading of freight as needed.
• Maintain documentation of each trailer moved during the shift.

Dedicated CDL-A Yard Jockey qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience, van type trailer preferred
• Previous Jockey or Switcher experience, preferred
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

Dedicated CDL-A Yard Jockey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
• Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
• Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving each
• Connecting tractors to trailers
• Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
• Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
