Job summary

C.R. England is seeking an experienced CDL-A dedicated truck driver for the Ames, IA area. This role features weekly pay, a 2–3 weeks out scheduling pattern, and on-site working conditions with top-of-the-line equipment.

The driver will handle condo trucks and dry van trailers on a no-touch freight account, with some locations featuring drop-and-hook, live unloading, or reloads. Qualified candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, be 21 years or older, and have 3+ months of recent Class A CDL

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have 3 months or more of recent Class A CDL experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport loads safely and timely.
• Remain compliant with safety regulations and company policies.
• No-touch freight; some locations may be drop-and-hook or live unload/reload.
• Delivery locations cover 48 lower states.
• Schedule typically 2–3 weeks out with 2–3 days off.
• Operate condo trucks and dry van trailers.
• Maintain logs and comply with all regulatory requirements.
