Job summary

Schneider National is hiring for Team Dedicated driving. Haul general merchandise in double pup trailers with 100% no-touch and 100% drop-and-hook freight.

Routes are terminal to terminal, mainly east of the Mississippi, and you may bring your dog or cat under the Team Pet Policy. Compensation features mileage pay plus hourly pay on duty, a guaranteed weekly minimum during the first 90 days, weekly performance pay, and sign-on bonuses paid over 12 months.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required at time of hire.
• HazMat endorsement required at time of hire.
• Live within 75 miles of Lexington, KY.

Job description

Overview

• Haul general merchandise in double pup trailers.
• 100% no-touch and 100% drop-and-hook freight.
• Terminal to terminal, running mostly East of the Mississippi River.
• Take your dog or cat on the road with our Team Pet Policy.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
