Job summary

C.R. England is seeking an experienced OTR driver for a dedicated Target account. Expect consistent miles on a 24/7 operation with a mix of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries from shuttle points.

Prerequisites include a valid CDL-A and at least 3 months of Class A CDL experience; this lane excludes students and new grads. Pay includes benefits and retirement options; top-line trucks with lift gates on some routes.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-loaded tri-temp/dual temp reefer shipments.
• Unloads mostly at store locations; use lift gate or pallet jacks where required.
• Deliveries from shuttle points to Chicago area and suburbs.
• Maintain observation during unloading as required.
• Shifts vary with 24/7 operation; some overnights.

Job description

Join our dedicated Target account running a mix of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries from shuttle points.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Pre-loaded tri-temp/dual temp reefers. Most stores are store unload with the driver observing the unload. The inner city stores will require the use of lift gate and pallet jacks.

All loads start and final at the West Jefferson, OH with deliveries to downtown Chicago and the surrounding Chicago suburbs.

Home time: 2-3 days home weekly with a 34-hour reset

This account is a 24/7 operation so shift times may vary

Current shift available: 9PM to Noon (overnights) 7 days a week with no set days off

Top-of-the line automatic transmission trucks hauling 28-ft and 53-ft trailers

The trucks can be parked in a safe and secured location.

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 Years of age or older
• 3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience
