Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for dedicated routes delivering retail merchandise in dry van trailers. This position features 100% no-touch freight and about 80% drop-and-hook, with about 13 loads per week and routes within CT, MA, NH, NY and PA (no New York City).

You'll earn mileage pay plus hourly pay when on duty, plus weekly performance pay and bonuses including sign-on, orientation, PTO and annual bonus up to 2% of gross pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• HazMat endorsement within 90 days of hire; online pre-training available.
• Live within 50 miles of Putnam, CT.

Responsibilities

• Haul retail merchandise in dry van trailers.
• Operate with 100% no-touch freight and ~80% drop-and-hook.
• Deliver about 13 loads per week.
• Drive within CT, MA, NH, NY and PA; no NYC.
