Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Spartanburg, SC is seeking drivers to run three loads per week with paid unloaded loads of $320 each. Expect about 1,100 miles weekly, home on weekends, and a schedule that keeps you home Friday night and Saturday or Sunday return.

Start mileage at $0.70 per mile, rising to $0.84 as years pass, plus stop pay and a mentor period. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, meet age and driving history requirements, and live within 40 miles of Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with at least 3 months solo tractor trailer experience.
• Valid Class A CDL matching your state of residence.
• No more than 2 moving violations and no preventable accidents in the last 3–5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing, no SAP drivers.
• Live within 40 miles of Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Handle 1,100 miles per week with about 3 loads per week.
• Unload at stores using rollers; no-touch backhauls.
• Home weekends: Friday night/Saturday or Saturday night/Sunday.
• First 3 loads with a mentor, paid $175 a day.

Job description

Three loads a week at $320 each is $960 before you count a single mile. Add mileage starting at $0.70, stop pay, and a home weekly schedule, and drivers on this account average $1,700 to $2,100 a week.

How the Money Works

• Unload Pay: $320 per load, about 3 loads a week
• Mileage: $0.70 per mile to start, up 2 cents every year to $0.84

Your Week

• Sunday to Friday or Monday to Saturday
• Home Friday night and Saturday, or Saturday night and Sunday
• About 1,100 miles, 3 stops per load
• Hand unload at stores using rollers, no touch backhauls

Getting Started

• First 3 loads with a mentor, paid $175 a day
• Late model automatic sleeper, 53 foot dry van
• Park at home if it's safe, or at the yard in Cowpens
