Job summary

C.R. England, the premier refrigerated carrier in the country, is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver for a dedicated account based out of Shafter, CA. This is a no-touch freight account with loads of 1 to 5 stops and a possible backhaul to the distribution center.

Driver Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 21 years of age or older, and a minimum of 3 months of recent Class A CDL experience. Weekly miles average around 1,700; home time is a 34-hour reset weekly; shifts start between 3PM

Job description

Are you an experienced CDL driver looking for a better fit? Drive for C.R. England, the premier refrigerated carrier in the country on a dedicated account based out of Shafter, CA. This is a no-touch freight acount. Load can be 1 to 5 stops with a possible backhaul back into the distribution center.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week

Freight originates at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA with deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV

Home Time: 34-hour reset weekly

Shifts for this fleet start between 3PM-9PM hours

Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hrs per week with the possibility of getting home mid-week

Band Pay based on experience

Stop Pay

Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions pulling 53-ft dry van and reefer trailers

Trucks will need to park at the Shafter Walmart DC

Driver Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience

Transportation to commute to work
