Job summary

Dollar General Fleet is hiring CDL-A Company Drivers to haul freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Drivers enjoy weekly home time, with earnings up to $105,000 per year for qualified experience, and a strong benefits package.

Earn paid training days at $200 per day, plus 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision insurance from day 1, short/long-term disability, life insurance, and stock purchase options.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation or accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Haul and unload freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors.
• Deliver freight to multiple stops and return rolltainers to the distribution center.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with interstate/intrastate delivery requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No more than one moving violation or accidents in the past 3 years
• Paid unloading; unload freight and rolltainers at each delivery site in a safe and efficient manner

Dollar General Fleet is currently hiring CDL-A Company Drivers! Company-Drivers are responsible for on time delivery of freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight to Dollar General Stores and also returning freight (as required) and rolltainers to the Distribution Center. Responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes interstate and intrastate deliveries.
