Universal Logistics is seeking a CDL-A Company Driver in Norfolk, VA to operate a 1 Class A truck on port runs. You will be home daily, with opportunities for long and short lanes and consistent year-round work.

The role requires at least 21 years old, 6 months of verifiable on-the-job experience in the last year, a clean MVR (no more than 2 violations in 2 years), and Hazmat preferred (reimbursed if pursued).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months of verifiable on-the-job experience in the last year.
• Clean MVR with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight to and from customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Secure and handle freight properly (may include loading/unloading).
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members.
